Sanctuary – Swan Merger Finally Completes

After many weeks of delay, the merger between non-compliant Swan Housing Association and Sanctuary Group has been completed. The deal, which completed on 8th February, will see the 11,500 home Swan become a subsidiary of Sanctuary. In a statement Sanctuary said that Swan will continue as a standalone operation while future integration plans are discussed. Now that Swan is part of Sanctuary, Dave Soothill – previously Sanctuary’s Development Director in England, will assume responsibility for Swan as its Managing Director. The Sanctuary Group now manages 116,000 homes across England and Scotland.
